Tipra Motha Party founder Pradyot Bikram Manikya Deb Barma has termed the failure to integrate key parts of the erstwhile Kingdom of Tripura into India during the 1947 Partition and the 1971 Indo-Pak war as a "historical blunder," asserting that discussions about reclaiming separated Indian territories should not remain confined to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
